Devlog #1


New Changes:

  • Enemies will continue coming back if you do not destroy them.
  • The wave system was tidied up and easier to configure.
  • Added settings in main menu to be able to adjust music volume.
  • Added the scrolling intro scene that explains the backstory when starting the game.
  • Player movement is fast and snappy to give an arcade feel.
  • Enemies now emit a particle effect when hit to give visual feedback.

Old Version:

  • You can skip enemies and still win.
  • There used to be a sloppy way of controlling the waves.
  • No settings for volume.
  • No intro when hitting start game, just gets into the game scene.
  • Player movement was slightly heavy and swingy.
  • There was no visual indication when enemies were hit.
